DIRECTION FROM MONTREAL’S TRUDEAU AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN

Bus. Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is located 30 kilometres from the city centre. There is a bus connection from the airport to the city centre. The 747 bus line service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, between the Montréal-Trudeau airport and downtown Montréal (corner of Berri and Sainte-Catherine – Berri-UQAM station). It usually takes 45-70 minutes (11 stops) to get from Downtown (Berri-UQAM station) to Airport or 25-30 minutes from Terminus at Lionel-Groulx station to the Airport.

Taxi. The fixed rate for a trip from the airport to downtown Montreal or the other way around is 41$ (+15% tip for a taxi driver). Montreal taxis do not have a uniform colour, so you need to look for the light on the top of the car. Inside they should have a proof of registration and a photo ID installed in a place visible to the passenger. Not all taxis accept credit cards, so please confirm with the company beforehand (see the list below). Alternatively, you can all an Uber.
